1. Do my igg index scores being well below the cut off make it even less likely to be positive, or does it not make a difference?

For the test I used the cut off numbers were –
Negative: <0.9
Equivocal: 0.9-1.1
Positive: >1.1

And my index numbers were –
HSVI: 0.133
HSVII: <0.500

Also, my symptoms have sometimes been *incredibly* itchy, *not* tingly, even where there aren’t any visible sores.

2. What is the cause of the “itchiness” in herpes? I’ve heard it’s due to the scab/healing, so would it make sense in herpes for there to be intense itchiness where there are no lesions?
