OK, I’m confused. You tested negative in 2021 and 2018, and you have been with this partner who tests negative for HSV 2? This makes no sense at all to me. No, I don’t believe that you got it from an ultrasound, they use a new condom on those each time they are used and are also sterilized.
So either there is an error in here somwhere or your previous tests both missed the infection or your partner’s IgG test missed the infection.
If you were my patient, I would do the western blot for you. This is making zero sense.
Also, I have almost never seen an index value for HSV 2 anywhere near this high
