Buttocks herpes normally starts out as a red area that begins to swell, then blisters form under the skin, then they come to the surface and break open and they usually come in a cluster, close together rather than spread out. What you describe sounds pretty different than that. But if you have any concerns, you should see someone for a swab test sooner than 2 days if possible.
