I think it is extremely likely that the LabCorp tests were errors but there is no way to know for certain as you are testing a bit early for accuracy. I think you could retest at Quest at 6 weeks out and if still in this low positive/equivocal range, plan on getting a western blot
However, it would be very unusual to get HSV 2 at a single protected sexual encounter. Try to keep that anxiety in check, given the very low chance that this happened and just test at appropriate intervals with the best test. it may end up being the western blot at 12 weeks out if you continue to get these low positive/equivocal results
