I just realized that my follow up started a new thread.
Sharing some of the background information from the previous post in case that’s helpful.
I last had unprotected sex Feb 22, 2022. It started protected and then ended unprotected. 6 days later I had watery discharge and then I had a one day fever, which prompted me to go to the doctor. They recommended full blood work. Everything came back negative except for HSV2 igg and BV was indeterminate. Totally wasn’t expecting a positive result, I assumed I maybe had BV because I had sex when I was at the end of my period.
I went to a OBGYN 3/17 to confirm the result. It came back with an index value of 0.91. At first she reported positive on my lab chart, but then after questioning she told me I was equivocal (maybe she just made a final determination of positive because the other test was positive, even though I still don’t know the index value of the first test).
I called the OBGYN a couple weeks later expressing concern and she recommended to get another test early April which put me at 6 weeks post possible exposure. That test came back negative <0.90
I also retested for HIV for peace of mind 60 days after have sex in Feb and that was negative. I will go back in August.
