1.How common is it to find someone who contracted HSV2 from condom protected sex?
It depends. Condoms reduce transmission from men to women by 96% and from women to men by 65% so it depends.
2.Does number of partners affect your opinion even if they were all condom protected ?
Again, depends upon the gender. The more different partners, the more risk
3.Is oral HSV2 common?
Definitely not
4.Would oral HSV2 initial infection always be symptomatic?
No, I have seen it be symptomatic.
5.Does HSV2 show up as a single lesion? Will that lesion rupture, turn into a sore and crust over or would it just disappear? Depends upon the location of the lesion. Lesions on the labia simply fill in, penis lesions crust and heal.
6.How long should a lesion last before it breaks open? 2-3 days? Usually shorter than that.
7. If you can only test by blot and only have safe sex but have had multiple partners how often would you recommend testing if you’ve had no symptoms?
maybe once a year? depends upon the frequency of partner change and the number of partners we are talking about.
