So they were like spread out individual bumps, many of them but not in clusters as they seeming to be spread evenly over my skin. They did seem to ulcer as in form and then break but not a ton on clear scabbing -it took 3-4 weeks for my skin to look normal again I had sort of a faint scar from them for a few months even after. Extremely itchy on the bumps but also mainly felt like itching from inside my vagina so much so I could barely sit still. They were also painful and very painful to pee. I have never had a cold sore. The sores mainly stopped hurting and itching after a week but I had cottage cheese discharge on and off for another month, my doctor never told me I had a yeast infection so I never got meds for it . If this is s ghsv1 infection is genital to genital transmission a concern? I’m confused how to move forward because I want to keep future partners safe but I also wouldn’t want to burden them with irrelevant information if this was just as horrible yeast infection. Is it possible the western blot would test positive from exposure to hsv1 maybe even from childhood and sharing cups etc?
