Had a couple more questions:

1. If there is no concern about passing it to a child in some way, how come people can auto-inoculate themselves?

2. My daughter has had two red dots on her butt that have been freaking me out. They looked like dots that were blood red, and open. Very small. The reason it freaked me out is because they were there one week and then healed after a bit, and then within a week came back. Her doctor said she thought they were papilla because when she pressed them they turned white which she indicated meant that they weren’t deep. If this were HSV would not open sores be painful? She hasn’t had any pain or itching. I was just freaking out because they came back.
