1. Are herpes blisters easy to pop? Or are they more firm?
They are pretty easy to pop
2. Is it common to get herpes in the ear lobe? I ask this because I now have lesions in my earlobe that have crusted and scabbed over. I was at the beach so I wonder if that could have just caused dry skin?
I just don’t know, without seeing this (please don’t post a picture)
3. I did go to urgent care and the doctor that looked at my ear said she didn’t think it looked like herpes but rather a bacterial infection. She did a pcr swab for herpes just in case. The lesions were scabbed over and it didn’t seem like she swabbed hard enough, could this still pick up virus if this is herpes?
Yes, PCR is very sensitive
4. I’m getting spots that are popping up on my hands and my chin that are scabbing, they are just singular spots and no yellow crust that I can see. Does this sound like herpes? The spot on my chin bled when I scratched it because I thought it might have been a pimple, does herpes bleed like that? This spot bled quite a bit.
These don’t’ sound like herpes, no.
I think you should rely upon your blot results at this point.
