Reply To: Hvs 2 should I do a Western blot?

Minor update: I received an email from the company I set the panel up with saying due to high false positive they highly recommend (in bold) me taking the confirmation test (they only offer Elisa)
I set a consultation call with the physician and he was basically telling me no need to retest that it is what it is.
Should I take western blot which would take me weeks to find out or elisa which would be fairly quicker turn around?

Also I read that if you had chicken pox in the past this can throw off the test, which I did when I was about 10-11 years old.
Would that throw off an HVS1 or 2 test?

Also I am a male in my early 30s in case that’s important.
