We can assume, for the purposes of this discussion, that you have HSV 2 orally. I don’t know if that is true or not. but let’s assume it for purposes of discussion. HSV rarely sheds orally, but in the first year or so of having infection, it will shed more often while your immune system gets a handle on things.
