Are you certain that the outbreaks you had in 2021 were HSV? Were they ever swab tested? Were they just like the ones you had recently? If they are all about the same, then it is likely you’ve been infected longer than sept. You could also retest in December and see what the IgG test shows. If it is a lot higher, then maybe you did get it in September. Let me know
