Have I had this for almost 4 years and never given it to her? I am seeing it in a lot of posts that this is possible, as well as the 4% transmission rate statistic.
The 4% transmission risk is female to male, not the other way around. Male to female, no condom, no antiviral meds, around 10% per year. But if you weren’t aware of this and not doing anything, you might want to confirm this number though it is higher as I would have expected possible transmission during that time frame
Is this burning my first outbreak, lasting almost 5 weeks plus? I have never had any sores or anything, ever!
No, I don’t think so
It does not really burn when I urinate, only after it is uncomfortable and feels “swollen.”
I doubt that has to do with herpes.
If yours is a true positive and she is really negative, you should consider daily antiviral meds to reduce the risk of transmission to her.
