You would definitely benefit from the western blot. You should not rely upon the immunoblot as the CDC strongly recommends against doing that test to confirm or deny an IgG result. This was completely inappropriate. You need the western blot. I am out of the country until mid February and am opening a few more appointments for the 19th, tomorrow. Nothing after that until later in February.
