Thank you Terri. My PCP prescribed 90 days of valacyclovir @ 500 day, saying go to 2x a day if that doesn’t fully suppress it. Pricier than acyclovir under my Medicare Part D, but not a big deal–the pharmacy had a coupon to cut the cost from just over $100 to $48.
