I would absolutely agree that you don’t have HSV 2. Your subsequent negative and equivocal suggest this very strongly. Also, herpes is not transmitted via shaking hands or touching hair. it is a sexually transmitted infection. If you can’t let this go, you could do the western blot but I feel quite sure that you are not infected.
