Why is my HSV1 IGG levels so much higher? Could these HSV2 tests be picking up an enzyme in my blood since I have HSV1?
Yes, there could be some cross reactivity with HSV 1 in your index values.
Well, yes, but the inhibition assay is positive, though we have seen several false positive inhitibion assay results.
What do you make of all this information?
You most definitely 100% need the herpes western blot to clarify your situation. If you do it, please let me know as I am gathering the inhibition assay data for our study
