glad you had results to post before I answered.
I would say that this says you don’t have HSV 2 genitally and that HSV 1 genitally is highly unlikely. I would agree with your doc – transfer to a new location after established oral infection is extremely unlikely but possible (I have seen it once in 40 years of practice and even that one, I’m not positive about)I think this also answers your question about oral sex with a new partner who also has HSV 1.
