Thank you for answering my questions. Just a few follow up questions.
In early 2015 when I was tested, is 6.85 high on 2/24/15 only 8 weeks after exposure? I thought it was strange that it was back to 0.94 on 2/27/15 (3 days later).
If I have been HSV2 positive for 8 years, why don’t I have values a lot higher like my HSV1 values? Are positive HSV2 IGG values typically lower than positive HSV1 IGG values for most individuals who are infected with both viruses?
Maybe I dont’t understand the confirmation inhibition assay test which I took on 1/31/23. As I mentioned, it provided 2 values.
1.39 for the HSV2 screening index
86.1 for % inhibition.
The 1.39 stated normal/in range which was highlighted in green almost seemed like it was conflicting from 86.1 score which stated abnormal highlighted in red.
Why was the 1.39 normal/in range? Normal/in-range for being positive?
With a 1.39 value, what % of false positives do you see at that level?
It does sound like a Western Blot will clarify a lot of information.
Thanks again!!
