Your experience with your child presents zero risk of herpes transmission. Please don’t worry about this. This is not how herpes is transmitted and your child is going to be just fine. I believe that you are over estimating the ability of herpes infections to be transmitted and it’s understandable that you would worry if you thought that was possible to be transmitted in this way. But it is not.
