Yes I did get a confirmatory test and it should be back tomorrow. If it comes back positive I will go get the western blot as soon as possible I guess as well as repeat the IgG test in 6 weeks.

I don’t think my ex partner would be willing to take the test and I’m so overwhelmed with a deep sense of shame I don’t know if I could ask them. I also don’t trust them not to sabotage me because they are a rather vindictive woman with BPD.

I honestly can’t even put into words how deeply upset I am, the level of dark thoughts I have been having. I am debating checking myself into a psychiatric ward.

How likely do you think it is that my results are a false positive? Is there anywhere I can read about probabilities based on my IgG levels?
