Your HSV 1 is positive because of your cold sore history. It doesn’t matter how long ago you had a cold sore, this is a lifetime infection and you will always be positive for HSV 1. There is no point in wasting your money on a western blot. All of this is perfectly normal and you join about 50% of the population who has HSV 1 infection.
