Do antivirals only protect HSV2 infections? Is that why I now have hsv1 wereas the last sexual partner has both hsv1 and 2. Could having sex with him just sparked symptoms of an infection I already unknowingly had?
Could the hsv1 antibodies have possibly protected me from hsv2 when exposed to both so initiated symptoms of burning thighs and yeast infection in the process?
I ask since my doc says none of it seems like an initial outbreak with my numbers and symptoms.My gynos theory is ive had hsv1 and mg last partner is just a coincidence that got me to test
