I can’t really tell much about your situation with knowing the index values of your IgG testing. Did you have some or can you find out the index values? There is one test that doesn’t offer index values and you may have had it done – not great at all.
if your HSV 2 index value is below 3, you need confirmation by another test. Also, the IgG test misses 30% of HSV 1 infections. Just not a great test compared to the gold standard western blot, I’m afraid.
