Hello,
First off, I want to say thank you for responding and listening.
I do agree with everything that you said as well.
After I was able to get out of my head a little bit, I started to feel better. I am gonna try to talk to my doctor at my next appointment about what could be causing the “cysts” since I have tried my best to prevent them.
As far as the anal lesions are concerned, I took a sitz bath for a few days which helped with the irritation while I am still kind of recovering from the stomach virus. It seems as though they went away but I will try to get them swabbed if it happens again. As far as the testing that you mentioned, I have heard of the PCR swabs I am assuming but what is the NAAT?
I would agree that I am a little bothered by my diagnosis yes. I feel like I am all alone because nobody around me understands what is going on or how I am feeling. I was also a big hypochondriac before my diagnosis so that has made it much harder for me especially because I have always tried to take good care of myself when it comes to things like this.
My main concern is the transmission. I know there is always a risk but I just know that I would feel bad if I couldn’t tell the difference between symptoms and gave it to my partner. Especially when ghsv1 is not known to transmit outside of an outbreak. I know that I am getting closer to the 6-7 month range but I am unsure of the transmission risk percentage.
Again thank you for all of your help. I apologize for my little venting sesh towards the end there.
