I was already tested for all the other stds and obviously when it came to herpes both doctors told me not to. I could go to a private lab but they charge $400 but it’s not even about the money, it’s more that I am so terrified of a positive result. Like what if I have hsv2 orally? I did not even know this virus existed honestly. And now I remembered I used my sister’s toothbrush once but I read almost every question on ur forum and it says that it can’t be transmitted that way. I just don’t know what to do at this point. Does the pimple I described count as a symptom? It was on my inner thigh, hard to touch (almost like a boil), I popped it and some pus came out as well as blood after. I would say it isn’t based on what I read. My only issue now is that I never even had penetration and it would be really sad to have never even experienced it … I don’t know if I should live my life normally like other people do, but other people don’t do what I did. I stumbled upon a post about herpes 1.5 months ago, and that’s why I started this whole thing, before that I never knew it existed. I know you would recommend the western blot for me but based on all my encounters do you think I have oral or genital hsv2? And thank you
