None of these values are positive, they are all equivocal and if you were newly infected, I would expect to see an increase beyond the equivocal range. Your continual burning is unlikely to be related in any way to a herpes infection as herpes symptoms tend to be much more intermittent than constant. Also, you’ve never had a recognized outbreak. If you want to do the western blot for greater reassurance, you certainly can. There is no perfect candidate for the blot. It is available for anyone who wants to know with greater certainty their HSV status.
