We don’t have any data about how much taking Valtrex daily reduces the risk of transmission of genital HSV one to someone else. We only have data about HSV-2 reduction and it is 48%. I’m guessing everything will be OK here due to the condom and the fact that half the population already has HSV one infection. If you don’t hear from him in 10 days that he has sores, I bet you’re in the clear.
