A western blot done at least 12 weeks after a concerning sexual encounter that is negative would be accurate. I assume you were not taking long doses of antiviral medication during that time. Were the boils swab tested to see what they were?
Herpes does not behave in the way that you describe.
I’m not familiar enough with IUD Crash to answer these questions – our of my area of expertise. If I were your daughter, I would encourage you to believe the western blot and if you just can’t, then have anything unusual on the skin swab tested for herpes to help you believe it.
