1. What is the likelihood that I gave him HSV2 since his antibody count is potentially in the false positive range and mine was much higher?
I really don’t know the likelihood, but his low positive could be a false positive or a new infection. In addition, I have seen lots and lots of false positives in the range of your blood test. If you’ve never had symptoms, you might wish to confirm with a western blot
2. For over 2 weeks, Ive had muscle twitches mainly in my leg behind my knee (sometimes in my arm) but no sores, itching, burning, etc. Is this a sign of a potential outbreak or can this be caused by extreme anxiety or another underlying issue?
That is not a symptom of herpes. I don’t know how it got started that people think that’s associated with herpes, but it isn’t. People with and without herpes can have muscle twitches from time to time
3. Can I start suppressive medication even though I haven’t had an initial outbreak?
Of course, yes, but again, I would urge confirmation
4. Is it likely that I also have HSV1 since my antibody count is nearing the positive range?
The IgG test for HSV 1 misses 30% of infections so it’s difficult to say what this means.
