Hi Terri,
I got my period after the last post and once again I have all the symptoms of an OB. This is probably 4 periods in a row I am getting this.I start to feel it about 2 days into my period. My periods are pretty heavy and painful. I didn’t get swabbed because I was told if there are no visible sores to swab then nothing can be detected. Is this true? When I look down there the vaginal opening looks quite red, nothing burns when I pee and I think I can see something that might look like a small tear. I honestly can’t tell. Its def not visible by just spreading my legs I really gotta look around. I would like to start taking an antiviral daily.
How long will I need to take it to help with these period OB?
What exactly does an antiviral do to the virus when you take it for an extended period of time?
in the last post you said you would be shocked if I was actually having an OB every time , however have you ever seen this happen in your practise?
Is it true that GHSV1 female to male genital transmission is low? do you have the stats on this? I’ve read that GHSV1 transmission is the lowest, is it a higher chance of acquiring it orally?
Why does an OB present with flu like symptoms? when it’s a skin issue ? just such a bizarre side effect
thank you Terri
