Quest uses two different platforms – the second one they feel is more accurate. So I think you are negative at this point. IgG tests vary quite a bit.
You should do the blot around June 5.
The IgG tests give lots of false positives – it’s just how it is. The test picks up proteins and calls them herpes antibody proteins, but they are really something else.
At this point, your test is negative per Quest.
