Thanks for taking the time to answer.

Didn’t do a swab before because thought I could just do a blood test. I wasn’t aware at the time how inaccurate the blood tests can be. Also, I haven’t had a breakout since, which is the other reason.

I also found it odd that I had no pain with my primary outbreak. If it wasn’t for the appearance I honestly wouldn’t of noticed anything.

Was not aware the blot is now available for New Yorkers.

Are there labs around Albany, NY that I could get the blot done at?
What would be my next step if I wanted a blot done?
