Most people who acquire HSV 2 test positive by 9 weeks on the blot. A few take longer. It would have been great if the midwife had waited just a bit longer for your reassurance, but I seriously doubt that you have HSV 2. Since you are pregnant, I’m thinking that for you, another blot down the road will give you greater peace of mind.
