Sorry for posting five times in a row – but the situation has evolved for the worse and spread all the way next to my anus. Red bumps are very numerous – some are boils, some aren’t. I’ve been to 2 specialists. A walk-in clinic venereologist that seemed convinced it’s herpes and made a swab test, and a dermatologist who was adamant about it not being herpes (no water vesicles etc), but rather fungus related. He prescribed me antifungal creams and pills to take for the next 4 weeks.
Waiting for the lab result is very stressful. Still, considering my recent sexual history, I still want your opinion on the subject. If what I read was right, a primary outbreak wouldn’t happen on a spot that wasn’t the shaft or a direct point of contact… But then such a widespread first time recurrence is just unfathomable.
