With your low positive IgG results, it just isn’t possible to know if you have HSV 1 or not. And if you do the blot and test positive for HSV 1, you will not know if the infection is oral or genital. the small change in index values is not significant. You can work with your own provider to get the blot or you can work with me, if you decide to do it. Both work well.
