Hello updating again I developed a sore at the top of my scrotum just below my shaft that opened similar to a boil instead of bursting open like a blister. Clear/yellow fluid came out that tested negative for hsv 1/2 via pcr and positive for staph haemolyticus. I’ve had this before being a cyclist. I also tested negative again hsv 1/2 via igg at 13.5 weeks. I had also develop a pimple sized bump in my perennial area that disappeared when I started the antibiotics (did not open). The sore has went down though I still have the tingling/itching/pain in my perennial area which feels more like in the muscle/ligaments compared to skin level.

At this point should I be moving on from the thought of herpes or is a blot recommended?

Does dry/ashy scrotal/penis skin draw any concern for you regarding herpes?

With the symptoms listed above does staph makes sense?

I also plan to see a urologist to make sure these issues aren’t cycling related.
