Thank you for your expertise on this topic. I do have more questions. I have put in at least 20 hours of research. To answer your question. One out of three is negative. The partner I used a condom with is awaiting his IGG results and the other one is basically refusing saying there’s no way he can have it. Dumbass has never been tested and is 45 years old and says he’s never had an outbreak.
1. Since the molluscum contagiosom is a pox virus can it alter the IGG test? I read that the blot test looks at 16 diff types of protein in the blood and if there’s 4 present then positive for hsv2.
2. I am wondering if the IGG test can cross react between hsv1 and hsv2.
3. I mailed my western blot in and ups lost my package . I am devastated. Is there a chance I can be false positive even though my index is 12.8? Maybe I am in denial. I just feel in my heart I don’t have it.
