He and I reconnected and we both went to get tested.
My IgG for 1&2 were still both negative, after 12+ weeks since last exposure.
His HSV 2 was negative, but HSV 1 was 40.60.
1. Does this mean he has had it for at least a few years? He’s the only person I’ve been with for the last 2 years, and said he had clean tests before I got with him.
2. Before results, we had unprotected sex (7 times) and kissed over the course of 8-9 days. We have stopped all kissing and sex at this time. I will get tested at 3/9/12 weeks as I am pregnant. What is the likelihood of transmission to me?
3. How much does hsv 1 shed in adulthood? Out of all the time I have seen him, I have never seen any herpes like lesions anywhere on his body.
