What concerns me here is that:
1.- Of course the positive IgM test.
3.- I had a headache and a slight temperature the day after my first tests, and it went away by taking an ibuprofen pill
2.- In January I was being treated for a wart, so I applied a very moisturizing ointment (Vitacilin) that fell on the vulva, specifically on the back and I think it irritated me since the next day I went to the bathroom, washed and it started to itch, I scratched and bled. This was cured with a crotimazole cream.
Avoid reusing the ointment and this has not happened.
From there there are no other symptoms that I can identify as probable herpes.
4.- Despite my constant negative IgG tests with results of:
September: 0.33
End of September 5 days after finishing antivirals: 0.27
October: 0.109
April: 0.29
June: 0.30
I am specifically concerned about a CLIA test from April where the reference intervals were 0.0 – 2.0 and my result was 1.20.
Would you consider that a negative high or just a negative?
What is your opinion after all this?
I want to move on, but I don’t want to put anyone at risk.
