Youn were a virgin before this partner. You never received oral sex from anyone, including this partner, is that correct?
You had bumps that then exploded into more lesions and one of them swab tested positive for HSV 1, is that correct? And they were painful and made walking difficult? Is that correct?
I think it is highly unlikely that the swab test was wrong, if all of the above facts are correct. While it is very unlikely, you could have acquired HSV 1 from unprotected intercourse with this partner or he could have used saliva as lubricant and passed it in that way.
