HSV 2. I have spoken with a few doctors and specialists. Just with the skin I was never sure if it was a derm I should go to. But they assured me it wasn’t another std. ran tests came back negative. This occurrence is directly associated with the prodrome symptoms I have felt in the past. Just the presentation completely changes. And then if it was something else. Which I’m sure is possible? It’s presenting in the same area as the hsv does, and if it wasn’t hsv that means I wouldn’t have had an outbreak for 5 years or so. Does that sound likely? There was never anything to swab physically and the doctor never found it necessary to retest me for HSV. Is that something I should consider? Given my experience it just seems unlikely it’s something completely different. Same location of issue like micro. And physical symptoms minus the outbreak itself is the same. Thank you!!
