Hello thank you so much for responding.

I convinced my doctor to have my urethra swabbed for the virus when I had some symptoms, surprisingly enough it did pick up traces of hsv1, we did a pcr swab I thought it would come back negative since there wasn’t any visual sores or anything but I guess I was shedding from inside.

Since the blood test keep coming back negative but I still felt weird symptoms and I literally did so many other tests thinking it may be something different I was like Hsv is the only explanation at this point so that’s when I had the previous partner get test and came back with an igg of 62 for hsv1.

Now that parter came back negative for hsv2 how much confidence should I have on that?

I came back negative for Hsv-2 at 13 weeks.

I know that she hasn’t been active since the last time we engaged on sexual acts.

I have a couple of more questions-

About how much should I be expecting to shed right now without antivirals?

Will oral sex be more contagious since it’s hsv1?

Does it matter the amount of time when having sex ? Like will 10 minutes pose the same risk as 30 mins?
