You should absolutely not test her for HSV. The IgG test in children has 50% false positive rate and I’m not sure what you would even do with an accurate positive.
You know my email – go ahead and send a photo. I would think if it was HSV, a week later, it would be scabbed over which would be quite a different look than what you are describing, I think
