Your high index value, likely for HSV 1, indicates you’ve been infected for a long time – probably orally since you’ve never received oral sex.
You could do an IGG for both but the best test is the western blot. But honestly, I don’t see a reason to do either AND there are false positives on the IGG that should be a concern. I think you don’t have genital herpes, if that’s what you are thinking
