1) Do these still not sound herpetic? I have read of others having twitching/spasms.
I’ve read that too, but there is nothing about HSV that would cause this.
2) I feel fairly confident that I am negative for HSV2 given her and I both tested negative 12+ weeks post encounter. I have seen you say GHSV1 genital to genital is quite rare, so I guess that gives me hope, but what are your thoughts? Should I bother getting tested again? 8% x 8% false negative for HSV2 are pretty good odds in my opinion, but not sure if maybe I have GHSV1.
I think doing any more testing is not going to add any useful information unless you did the western blot, which would pick up 30% more HSV 1 infections.
3) If this does not at all sound herpetic, do you have any other thoughts as to what might be going on/what I should do?
