Hi Terri,

I did not have the swab test. I just showed my family doctor of the lesion and they told me it is Herpes. That was my first outbreak and I was not aware it is the infection of HSV2 at that time. Then half a year later, I went to do my STD test, the Igg of HSV2 is positive at 3.17. I do feel itchy once a while at the lower back. In this case, I guess I should be convinced that I have HSV2 infection. There might be no need to do Western Blot.
