You should completely ignore the IgG. The CDC says never to do it given a very high rate of false positives. The Mayo Clinic stopped doing it in 2019! You should count on the igG test results instead, though the IgG test missed 30% of HSV 1 infections, compared to the gold standard western blot and 8% of HSV 2 infections.
