I’m glad there was no baby involved. That was worrisome to me. The IGN test should never have been done, which I think you know. If you had a negative IgG test at 5 1/2 weeks, there is a good chance that you are not infected with HSV-2. At six weeks out from a concerning encounter, 70% of people who are going to be positive for HSV two will be positive. You are very close to six weeks.
