The combined test is very poor and has many false positives and should never have been done. Clearly the person who ordered it is unfamiliar with appropriate herpes testing. The values you should pay attention to are the negatives on the IgG test. Also, the combined test is an IgM, not an IgG and the CDC has long said never to use them to try to diagnose HSV
